Each of the six pentagons or petals - originally shaped to facilitate social control and designated for solitary confinement - now invites informal gathering. It is a four sided curved tube that curves upward to its two open ends, taking the shape of a Smile. Hovering 3m above the ground, its two ends are viewing platforms that take in the sky and reach out to neighbouring buildings.
