Firstly soak the bone dry clay for at least a week (the longer the better) in water. Some chinese potters used to put clay to soak for their grandchildren!! Then lay the now wet clay out on a plaster board until most of the moisture has been absorbed. Then wedge or pug clay to de-air it, then it will be ready to use as raw clay.
Tue, 04 Jan 2011 10:23:14 +0000 Anonymous comment 386 at https://process.arts.ac.uk Manda how does Bone Dry clay https://process.arts.ac.uk/content/flow-chart-ceramic-process#comment-379
Manda how does Bone Dry clay recycle into Raw Clay?
Thu, 09 Dec 2010 20:06:53 +0000 cfollows comment 379 at https://process.arts.ac.uk Brilliant chart Manda, very https://process.arts.ac.uk/content/flow-chart-ceramic-process#comment-378
Brilliant chart Manda, very simple and easy to understand!
Thu, 09 Dec 2010 11:23:33 +0000 cfollows comment 378 at https://process.arts.ac.uk
