DigiTell 2014: Exploring Online Presence in Creative Practice
The internet is no longer used merely as a portfolio display case; online presence is inherent in creative practice and retains various shades between personal and professional that often overlap. Bringing together Digital experts, this symposium brings to the forefront the important discussion of online identity for art practices.
When: Tuesday 04 November 2014 - 14:30 and 17:00 followed by drinks reception
Where: The Red Room, Chelsea College of Arts
Who: UAL staff, students and industry practitioners
Topics on the agenda include:
➢ Better understanding of the creative industries use of online technologies
➢ Learn unique ways in which digital platforms can be used for creative-driven practices
➢ Dig further into the necessity of online identity for creative careers
➢ Establish an online and face-to-face community of practice exploring the themes
➢ Recommendations for UAL to take forward
➢ Discerning the boundaries between personal and professional online presence
The format of the day includes a series of talks and panel discussion led by questions from the audience.
