process.arts has over 300 unique visitors every day, spending an average of 6 minutes on the site at a time, we'd like to find out what process.arts is being used for, in what way is the content useful or has been used or reused? It would be great to get your feedback, your experiences of process.arts, what you'd like to see added, what you like and don't like. Please comments her (no need to login) or contact process@arts.ac.uk

Many Thanks

Hi Chris, Here is a few lines

Hi Chris, Here is a few lines about more and more people are getting to know process art: I went to an OER event organised by NIACE (The National Institute of Adult Continuing Education) in January 2012, where the educators of adult learners mentioned a need for free images and other multimedia resources. Nottingham’s Xpert and Process Art were recommended by some participants as the repositories for those free resources. Here's a recent example: My

Here's a recent example: My name is Ahilan and I'm an Alumni of UAL (CSM 2006 Theatre Design).

I've only just been made aware of process.arts and wanted to pass on my enthusiasm for the ethos and collaborative nature of the site. It's really great to see the focus on actual making and processes undertaken rather than something geared towards conceptual thinking.

One of the downsides of my study at CSM was that there was a general emphasis more towards conceptual ideas and articulation (which do have their importance) but can overshadow the art of making and the bare-knuckled tools necessary to facilitate personal creative pursuit.

I've been undertaking various short courses in casting and glass making etc since leaving and it's invigorating to see this site up and running.

So thank you, I guess!

Best wishes

Hi Ahilan, This is really great to hear thank you!

It's been a long road to getting process.arts running and keeping it going. It's an un-funded project and is working well as a self sustainable model.

Comments and feedback like yours are really useful, and one of the previous problems was keeping alumni connected with the process.arts community and also attract older alumni to interact with current students and staff, there's a lot of retrospective and real world experience of great value to current students, reason we recently added the new login for non-current UAL users. http://process.arts.ac.uk/user/register

There are projects at UAL to interact and involve alumni ( http://dial.myblog.arts.ac.uk/about-dial/ ) I'll keep you posted.

Your feedback post is really helpful in supporting the site and it's future.

Hi Chris

I've spent some time interacting with 'process' today. Is there a button I can click to 'like' or 'rate' a post, similar to facebook or youtube (other social network an video sharing sites available)?

Sometimes I've nothing to add or comment to share, but some sort of approval of the author of a post would be nice. I'm thinking of the stretcher making post which doesn't really need any comment as it says it all within itself.

Just a thought and and opener on exchanging some dialogue.

Okay, so i've found the button at the bottom of the page, didn't think you'd overlook this.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for pointing out, I think it wasn't enabled because I just re-enabled it, its not a like button but we can work on making this a like button in the future, will put on our dev list.

Also the internet explorer view should be ok now that was also disabled why the developer (AKA Mr G) was making some changes.

Cheers Chris
