Fiona Dieffenbacher is Director of the BFA Fashion Design at Parsons The New School for Design.
Prior to this role she was Director, Ext. Projects for the School of Fashion, responsible for
developing diverse industry projects with a wide roster of partners including; Louis Vuitton,
Coach, LVMH and Swarovski.
She ran her own RTW label for seven years in New York, sold both in the U.S and internationally,
garnering press in WWD, The New York Times, New York Magazine, Harpers Bazaar among
others. Given her breadth of experience, Fiona successfully bridges the spheres of creative
practice, industry and academia. A proponent of strong research, she is currently working on a
book entitled “Fashion Design: PROCESS”, (AVA, release date January 2013).
