'Lift My Mind' Ceroma Scent System

'Lift My Mind' is a backpack designed by Dr Jenny Tillotson for The North Face sports endurance running collection. Commissioned by VF for the 'Futurewear' summit (March 2012) and exhibited in the wellness category, the technical backpack offers the selective delivery of multiple scents from a disposable 'solid-scent' cartridge designed by CEROMA, a spinout company of the University of Cambridge. Examples include evidence based essential oils e.g. peppermint to increase speed, mental performance and cognitive functioning, lavender to relax, citrus to energise. The technology is patented by the University of Cambridge (co-owned by University of the Arts London).
