There are many types of wax with many different uses, but candle wax is inexpensive, easily obtained and melts at a relatively low temperature.
As opposed to the other wax examples. object 6, object 41, it seemed appropriate to use the paraffin wax to make a candle, albeit one that does not burn from the centre.
