Red metal box

Much good quality material can be sourced from items already made, used and then discarded.
An old red toolbox, made of useful 20 swg gauge steel, is easily cut with strongish shears, folded using a vice and hammer, and then pop riveted. See photos…
The newly made box carries its provenance through its worn red paint, severed handle and brand name.
