Images from the Internet of Things talk & workshop (IoT) & Connected Environments at Chelsea 4th May 2016, part of the 'Technology is the answer, but what was the question?' Curriculum development project, exploring emergent Technologies in Art & Design.
A one-day workshop brought together students from our two respective courses with students already involved with CCW Digital Maker Collective, introducing them to a range of practices and critical perspectives on the subject of new technologies across Design and Fine Art, including speakers from the fields of interactive architecture and Artificial intelligence, followed by a hands-on workshop in physical computing. A group discussion at the end crystalised shared interests amongst students and possible collaborative projects to emerge.
