This is a question that is entered into Google on average over 700 times per month!
Fashion is an industry that appeals to large number of people however locating information on how to start a career in this industry is often difficult, with a recent BBC article highlighting that 23% of students felt they did not have enough information to make informed choices on further study, one student said:
"You're told to pick subjects which you enjoy and are good at. So I took a total mismatch of subjects with no real end goal and nobody said to me that I might struggle to find a university course because of my mixed set of A-levels." (BBC, 2014)
This is why as a lecturer in Fashion Buying with over 15 years experience in the fashion industry I have decided to launch a website to help guide the Fashion Buyers of tomorrow on to the right path for their future career. The website is full of useful information for those seeking a career in Fashion Buying, ranging from advice on what A-Levels to take, to recommended reading and top tips for applying to university.
