51 - Wire sphere

Wire sphere

Made with the same type of wire as object , the sphere is quickly built up using soldered curved sections with a radius of 6-cm.

These are formed by hand bending round a suitable size former (see photo) or cylinder and cut with pliers.

Once a stable spherical structure is complete using two or three complete circles the rest of the components can be sprung or rested into place and then soldered.
