SEE funded Pilot Project Workshop with Dutch artist Tiong Ang

This workshop was a successful recipient of the SEE Pilot Project Fund in November 2014. The SEP for CCW – Hannah Breslin and CCW AC – Katrine Hjelde – worked on the proposal and the delivery of the workshop together. The project was timed to coincide with a separate event Dutch artist Tiong Ang was invited to deliver at Chelsea which  were funded separately. One of the aims this pilot project was to consider ways of maximizing the impact visiting artists such as Tiong, can have on the student experience as well as the possibility of undertaking a project around  artists’ self-presentation related to enterprise and employability.  Also key was to run a workshop which could draw together BA and MA Fine Art students.  The workshop holistically raised questions around practice, research and artistic identity.

Attached is the report on the the workshop which includes the reasoning for the application for pilot project funding and some reflections on how the workshop went and what intended outcomes were achieved.
