Lunchtime Roundtable Student-led Discussion: The Relationship of Human and Technology in the Past, Present and Future in Arts.

Friday, 20 May from 12:30pm in the SU Bar in Chelsea College of Arts

The discussion is going to begin with brief introductions of some students’ ongoing practice and interest from different courses including Fine Art, Graphic Design and Spacial Design. Looking at those works and sharing various interests, we will discuss our thoughts on the relationship of human and technology in the past, present and future in arts. (the main focus may shift as the discussion develop!)

interested in sharing & taking part in the discussion? Please contact Mika (m.suetake1@arts.ac.uk) asap with your main interest and practice area in digital technology. The more we get to know about different creative uses of technology, the more the discussion will be exciting!

Please pop in to the bar on the day! Bring your drinks and food too.

This discussion event is student-led, cross course, cross year and informal. Don’t worry if your practice is not relevant to the digital technology – this session focuses more on the conceptual aspect of it, not the skill or techniques. Please come around on the day as if you are having a lunch with other students with similar interests from different disciplines. We hope this will be one of the most exciting lunch breaks!

This event will be followed by the closing drink reception for CCW Digital Maker Week. We can talk more about digital technology and art with others there!
